If you like watching wine reviews please give the video a Like, we’d very much appreciate it.

We sampled two enjoyable Sicilian wines. Sicily has been producing fantastic wines for a long time. Today we tried a Nero D’Avola from the western side of the island and a Nerello Mascalese from the Etna DOC on the eastern side. We really liked both wines but did have a clear winner and a strong recommendation.
I’m pretty sure we will return to Sicily for more wine tasting (virtually anyways).
Wines sampled:
Planeta Etna Rosso 2018 $27.70 CAD
grape varietal: Nerello Mascalese

Assuli Besi Terre Siciliane 2016 $33.75 CAD
grape varietal: Nero D’Avola
